CD Cover Design
Client: Transformation Records (2015)
Objective: To develop a rock music CD cover for Transformation Records.
The piece uses illustration to represent the band’s rise to fame by depicting the transformation of an egg to an eagle. The egg represents the birth or beginning of the band’s journey and the eagle represents the band’s rise to fame.
1923 Colorado River Expedition
Print Booklet Design
Client: Grand Canyon Park Services (2016)
Objective: To design an easy-to-read coffee table booklet about the Colorado River Expedition in 1923 for Grand Canyon Park Services.
The concept behind the project was to educate the reader through typography and graphic imagery. The project was inspired by the Grand Canyon National Park and its iconic rock formations.
Minimum Wage Campaign
Client: Alyssa Lang (2017)
Objective: To create a fun and educational campaign that raises awareness about increasing minimum wage.
I used mundane objects in the design of the campaign to illustrate the hardships people face while living on minimum wage. The campaign includes a series of posters, an infographic and an interactive board game.
Japanese Cultural Festival

Objective: To create marketing materials for promoting a Japanese cultural festival located in downtown Los Angeles.
The design of the project was inspired by iconic Japanese landscapes and incorporates various aspects of Japanese culture.
Class of 2017
Client: Cal Poly Pomona University Public Affairs
Objective: This project was assigned to me as part of the school 2017 Graduation promotional designs. After sketching different ideas, I came up with a unified design that would combine the iconic buildings of the University with graduation cap and diploma. I also incorporated shades of green and gold that represent the main color scheme of the University.
The backdrops are planned to be displayed for graduates to take their photos during the commencement ceremony.
Escape to Pandora
Logo Design + Visual Identity
Client: Pandora National Parks (2017)
Objective: To create branding materials for a mythical tourist destination sponsored by Pandora National Parks.
The design was inspired by the floating islands from the movie Avatar. The various scenes depicted in the illustrations create a sense of curiosity that inspires the viewer to explore the destination further.
Branding and Identity (Logo + Stationery + Website)
Client: Kinnect Technology, Inc (2016)
Objective: To create a branding and identity system for a company that promotes sustainable energy and develops technology that generates electricity with kinetic energy produced by vehicles driving on freeways.
The design was inspired by circuitry patterns and uses simple geometric shapes to illustrate the concept of kinetic energy.
Cal Poly Pomona University publications
Client: Cal Poly Pomona Public Affairs (2017)
Objective: I was commissioned to design the marketing materials for the California State Polytechnic University of Pomona. The design includes two projects that focus on converting the academic year to the semester system.
The design was inspired by the iconic colors of the university and incorporates a graduation theme to educate students on how to graduate on time once the new system becomes effective.
Magazine Cut Out Poster
Objective: This was a personal project which was designed by cutting out different section of magazine covers and creating visually appealing typographic poster.
The idea behind this project was to accomplish a gradient effect using type and color together.
Helvetica Letter A (pop-up book)

Objective: Creating a functional pop-up book honoring the Helvetica typeface. The letter "A" was chosen by the client to be displayed in a form of a pop-up book for a personal collection.
